Project Anokhee

Project Anokhee

The initiative extends its outreach to neighbouring villages, including Jamhar Village in Khunti District, thereby strengthening access to essential hygiene products in underserved rural and tribal communities. Through awareness and accessibility, Project Anokhee contributes to improved health outcomes and enhanced dignity for women and girls.
Currently, five women are employed under this initiative, contributing to both their personal empowerment and the economic development of the region. In FY 2024-25, the initiative achieved sales of 32,155 packets, generating total receipts of Rs. 3,93,854. The products were distributed across the districts of Ranchi, Khunti, Simdega, and Gumla, reflecting the growing reach and impact.

In addition to promoting menstrual hygiene, Project Anokhee plays a significant role in creating livelihood opportunities for local tribal women involved in the production of sanitary napkins. Aligned with TCI’s long-term vision of inclusive growth and sustainable community development, the initiative aims to scale operations, strengthen local supply chains, and expand market linkages in the

Years to come. This will enable the creation of additional employment opportunities, support women-led micro-enterprises, and ensure steady income streams for more tribal women.
