TCI Foundation in collaboration with DAV College Management Committee has established TCI-DAV Public School to bridge the education gap to provide better and standardized education to the children in tribal region of Jharkhand State. The school provides education Available, Accessible and Affordable to population in the rural hinterland.
The school journey was commenced in 2005 with a vision to provide quality and value based primary education to the underprivileged tribal children of district Khunti. The school was gradually developed to impart senior secondary education in the area and now it is one of the biggest schools in block Kara and imparts teaching to more than 500+ students.
TCI-DAV Public School is duly affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and provides a very congenial environment for all round personality development of children. The school has earned name for its strong academics, sports and cultural activities.
In alliance with the renowned prosthetics provider Jaipur Foot, TCI Foundation has established the TCI Jaipur Foot & Rehabilitation Centre in Patna to support underprivileged persons with disabilities. The Centre provides free clinical assessments, prosthetic limbs, and mobility aids to beneficiaries from across India, with the objective of improving mobility and quality of life.
The Centre commenced its operations in FY 2007–08 and, since its inception, has organised 89 rehabilitation camps, benefiting 26,729 beneficiaries. The initiative focuses on reaching individuals who have limited access to specialised rehabilitation and prosthetic services.
In FY 2024–25, the Centre served 1,402 beneficiaries through rehabilitation camps. Through this initiative, TCI Foundation continues its efforts to support persons with disabilities by restoring mobility and promoting dignity and independence.
The Centre is equipped with a specially designed mobile prosthesis workshop housed in an ambulance, which enables services to be delivered in remote and underserved areas. This mobile facility helps ensure timely access to prosthetic and rehabilitation support for those in need.
Through sustained efforts, the initiative will continue to reach a larger number of beneficiaries and support greater access to rehabilitation and mobility solutions across underserved regions.
