															TCI Foundation is a strategic partner of the National Centre for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC) Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) Government of India, in the implementation of intensified malaria elimination project-3 in India. TCI Foundation in the role of NGPR is responsible to implement the programme across the country with provision of technical support through critical workforce at national and regional levels, capacity building of 3010 health workforce across India and 60,000 ASHAs in 11 project states. The sub-national verification of malaria zero districts in the country is of paramount importance before country certification by WHO, assigned to TCI Foundation to technically and administratively manage the verification process through government constituted committee. During the project period the entomological zones and blocks will be strengthened for better surveillance and data management at central level. The national review of malaria programme will be conducted on annual basis.

															TCI Foundation in collaboration with the National Centre for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC) Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) Government of India was one of the principal recipients of Global Fund grant to implement intensified malaria elimination project-II in India. The Global Fund, ICCM and MoHFW have jointly authorized TCI Foundation to implement the programme across the country with provision of technical support through critical workforce at national, state and district levels, capacity building of 1.7mn health workforce across the country, development of e-learning management system, nine e-modules for nine health workforce cadres in nine languages, and establishment of training centres at national and regional levels. The strengthening of entomological zones, strengthening of clinical and entomological government laboratories at national and sub-national levels with provision of high-end penta-head training microscopes, examination binocular microscopes, stereo-zoom dissecting microscopes and entomological kits. TCI Foundation has successfully completed the project.
